Our goal at Trailhead Chiropractic is to help you prevent injuries, increase performance and reduce acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We focus on self-care skills you can use on recurrent or chronic conditions that emphasizes increased fitness and range of motion as a rehabilitation and preventive tool. We offer injury prevention and performance workshops for athletes and the general public every week.
Workshop Schedule:
January 18th - 6:00pm
Movement Assessment and Foam Roller
- Identify areas of restricted movement in need of myofascial release and stretching
- Learn how to use a foam roller to reduce tight musculature
- Obtain a custom stretching routine based on your specific range of motion deficiencies
- Learn basic strengthening exercises aimed at restoring normal force-couple relationships
January 25th - 6:00pm
Functional Training Principles
- Learn how functional training can help you become a stronger, more consistent athlete with less risk for injury
- Learn movement patterns that balance the lower extremities in a multiplanar, unstable environment
- Learn proper form with multiplanar lunges, squats and core strengthening exercise progressions

About Dr. Nate Spangler
Dr. Nate Spangler is a graduate of Boise State University and the University of Western States, and completed post-doctorate training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment in Indianapolis. Nate is now finishing his Masters Degree in Exercise Science at Boise State University. An avid cyclist, mountain biker, nordic skier and trail runner, Nate can be found fly fishing on occasion too. Dr. Spangler will help you realize that better fitness is the key to success in life.
