For a living I climb towers, and for my sanity I run.
Running is a way for me to not only express myself, but
a way to better myself. It is a way for me to set goals,
and more importantly, achieve them. Running presents
avenues to continually improve quality of life.
Sometimes when I’m stressed I’ll go for a run, and about
the time my feet hit the pavement, things seem a little
better. Since becoming a runner in 2007, the rest of my
life seems simpler (better). My stress levels have been
dramatically reduced, and my overall approach to life
has improved.
BOISERunWalk provides a great opportunity for any person
looking to better themselves, and I feel privileged to
be involved. Their knowledgeable staff and well
established program pave the way for improvement.
Saturdays don’t seem to come soon enough, as I look
forward to spending them with BRW all week long. I have
met and continue to meet great people, and I have also
gained and continue to gain considerable knowledge (all
the while shaving time). With the continued support and
direction of BOISERunWalk, I am looking forward to
setting personal records for a long time to come!
“It
matters not how strait the gait,
How charged with the punishment the scroll,
I am the Master of my Fate;
I am the Captain of my Soul”
